Travelers/Aetna Property Casualty Corp’s cancelation of one such policy is one of the only documented cases. it would seem a little redundant. I mean, I would have to pay for renter’s insurance to cover my own belongings. and if by chance something did happen to me, wouldn’t I be paying for the liability insurance used to pay for my own injury? It doesn’t seem right.

just to clarify, i mean that my landlord is trying to add money onto my rent to cover the complete cost of the home insurance for his end.
i don’t see why a tenant would pay for it.
would our building policy cover any of the interior of my unit?
what about flooring, bathtubs and showers etc.

I have extra insurance for my interior but i think i will increase it. i live in MALIBU!!!
