From the supplier: The quality of homeowners insurance policies provided to high versus low minority regions was compared with complaints as an indicator of quality. Findings showed that homeowners insurance policies given to high minority areas have less quality compared to policies given to low minority areas. However, it should be noted that estimation bias arising from neglected factors and measurement errors is always possible in empirical studies based on natural experiments such as the one performed.
