From the supplier: The Alliance of American Insurers and the American National Property and Casualty Co accused the Missouri Department of Insurance of using misleading statistics in its study of homeowners insurance. The insurance department reported that low-income, minority city-dwellers pay the highest homeowners insurance rates in Missouri but gave no reason for the occurrence. Insurers charge that the study implies redlining and called on the state to prosecute if it actually exists.
